Swindon Talent at the Old Town Bowl – Tomorrow
As you know, Coach are taking part in the “Swindon Talent” competition tomorrow (Sunday 26 June 2011) and are hoping to make a big impression.
Competition’s going to be tough as it’s open to all age groups and let’s face it, none of us are as cute as some of the younger contenders lol.
Tabla Heaven
Well its been almost a year now since i bought a tabla stand (which i was quite excited about to begin with) but turns out it wasn’t really fit for purpose..! So i managed to take it back to Bina Musicals in Southall, a shop which i have been going to for over 30 years since i first started learning tabla. The guys there were more than helpful and were good enough to let me exchange the stand for something else…so guess what…i bought another tabla…! Tuned to the note of ‘D’ it sounds sweeeet and am looking forward to taking it to the next few gigs…listen out y’all..!!! Check out this rack…..!!
Site changes and Social Networking
Just added an image gallery feature to the site, so we’ve started uploading a bunch of photos (more to come later). In addition, you’ll notice, the “Videos” link in the menu above is now “Media”. Don’t worry – you’ll still find the videos on the site, but this new categorisation lets us bundle videos, images and audio altogether in one ‘bucket’. Hopefully it’ll work for you
